My life ins't perfect but it's way better than it was! My parents were never there for me. When my past comes up my BF and partner helps me work through it.
In the mirror I saw myself as a fat ugly person. Learning about body image helped me understand and accept myself. Now I'm a more confident person!
The struggle I have to face every day is there but I know I'm not alone. There's support and advice always out there.
When my problems didn't go away I got down on myself. I thought being skinny would make people like me. I realised I need to accept myself first.
I stopped eating and restricted everything. I was diagnosed with anorexia nervosa. Getting help to recover is really important so don't keep it to yourself.
If I had a chance to talk to someone earlier I would have. Because all you need is for someone to listen.

A well designed self-monitoring app to help track and monitor eating habits along with thoughts and feelings. It has a great array of features including strategies and motivational affirmations. Would be a great tool to be used in conjunction with therapy.
