Young adult feedback
CBT Thought Diary is a simple app allowing users to log daily moods, thoughts, and gratitude. The app uses CBT thought-challenging techniques with some psychoeducation. The design is dull, and the content is limited, but the app itself is easy to use and helpful as a daily tracking tool.
Expert feedback
CBT Thought Diary is a good, but very basic, mood tracker that allows users to track negative thoughts and gratitude with a few learning options.

I like the idea of this app and it offers numerous topics on how to improve your life, but there are some posts that seem irrelevant and more for entertaining users. Full access requires subscription which means some articles/posts are blocked.

A wonderful wellbeing app rich in content, user friendly, and memorable! Designed by a team with diverse expertise, the app is engaging and really well thought out. Highly recommended!

A fight with my best friend left me even more broken
,
One year when we were finally in the same class I saw her with two different girls - they were chatting and ignored me as I walked past. I was broken. We got to choose where we sat and she went with another girl. I sat next to the last girl left, Alice. Her best friend was sitting with another girl too. But I was cautious. I was expecting a fight, but it didn't happen.

Turns out my bubbly, happy BF had depression. I was shocked and scared for her. Me and another friend helped her tell somone. She's better now.

They were the biggest help
,
As she moved the phone towards me I saw that she had hurt herself. It was horrible. I never knew someone could do something like that. I screamed and asked her why. It turns out my fun, bubbly, happy best friend actually had depression. I was shocked and scared for her. Later she was calling me crying and saying how she wanted to die and didn't deserve to live. She even tried to take her own life.
