Being the only bisexual among my friends and family made me feel alone. I read up on it and found others like me online. Now I'm proud to be bisexual!
The design of this app is simple and effective. Very similar to other mood tracking apps.
This app offers a really well designed, easy to use, and engaging mood tracking journal. There is an option to print PDF copies of user mood logs which can be useful for sharing with face-to-face Counselling Professionals, and a choice of mood rating scales that helps provide a more accurate indication of user mood.

DBT Coach offers a good variety of resources for users to engage with dialectical behaviour therapy. There are a range of ways for the user to interact with the app, including lessons, tracking, mediations and more. Most of the resources are only available upon subscription but this is a high-quality app that is worth the money if you would like some extra DBT.
DBT Coach is rich in content and provides high quality information, training, tracking and mindfulness sessions. Some app navigation is required to take full advantage of the features, and peer chat can be a little slow- but this may change with future developments. The app also provides the option of being able to connect with your regular face to face therapist for real time support.

Therapeer is a simple and easy to use app for chatting to peers when needing an outlet. Although the conversations are not with professions, it is a good space to be able to talk through how you are feeling in the moment.
A peer-support app offering a friendly community for guidance on relationships and emotional wellbeing. Peers are asked to provide feedback to others before gaining access to create their own posts for support, creating a great sense of community. The app is designed well and user friendly.

Excellent, easy to use, and simple functionality encouraging users to think positively and find areas where they can be grateful. Lowering cost or offering more before having to subscribe would make the app more accessible and better recommended.

My name is Nash. I’m 19. I love football, country music and my dog. I’m also a proud Torres Strait Islander!
I started experiencing mental health challenges in my early teen years. I was bullied at school and started to self-harm. I thought that males were meant to bottle things up and I didn’t show any emotions.

I just wanted to express my thoughts and for someone to listen to me and to not fix me. Kids Helpline did that. I was really grateful how they were able to listen to me and yet helped me process what I was going through. I tried Kids Helpline because they were directed towards young people and were more youth-friendly than some other services. When I was talking with Kids Helpline I felt more comfortable and okay with my problems. They were not solved per se but I felt that they weren't as debilitating.

Encourages kids to create lunch events with people they know (from school or people around them etc) so that no one ever needs to sit alone at lunch. Good concept for an app - theoretically though, it could be misused.
Sit With Us promotes inclusion in schools by connecting students through organised lunches. A great concept, however only works well if others in your school have and use the app. There is an opportunity to become an ambassador and promote this app in your school community.
