Thinkladder

Young adult feedback
The app offers nice audio and gratitude practices, but the functionality of this app is a little hard to understand and the ‘insight’ aspect is confusing and almost tedious.
Expert feedback
Thinkladder is a simple app designed to assist users in identifying, and challenging, limiting beliefs. Users are able to select from topics that are most relevant to them and are guided through expert insights to create positive change. The app also offers audio options for relaxation! User friendliness could be improved through greater structure in content display.

Sober Grid – Social Network

Young adult feedback
Sober Grip is a good quality app that creates a space for users to connect and keep track of their sobriety. The app relies on users actively engaging with others and doesn’t offer much beyond community connection. Although the design is simple, the app provides what it claims to offer and could be recommended to young adults.
Expert feedback
Sober Grid offers global community connection for users seeking support for sobriety. The app uses a news feed-similar to Facebook- where users can share experiences, create group chats, connected with local peers, and discuss strategies to help motivate each other towards goal achievement. Users are able to create a detailed Profile and earn badges acknowledging progress achievements. An affiliate link to AA is provided but there is little offered with regard to educational resources.

I know it's really hard and tough to seek help
,
I just wanted to express my thoughts and for someone to listen to me and to not fix me. Kids Helpline did that. I was really grateful how they were able to listen to me and yet helped me process what I was going through. I tried Kids Helpline because they were directed towards young people and were more youth-friendly than some other services. When I was talking with Kids Helpline I felt more comfortable and okay with my problems. They were not solved per se but I felt that they weren't as debilitating.
Your story can help others!
We'd love to hear how Kids Helpline helped you overcome the tough times so that we can share with others who are struggling.

My life ins't perfect but it's way better than it was! My parents were never there for me. When my past comes up my BF and partner helps me work through it.

The struggle I have to face every day is there but I know I'm not alone. There's support and advice always out there.

If I had a chance to talk to someone earlier I would have. Because all you need is for someone to listen.
