There isn't just one type of job or study area - there's so much choice. I tried a few things before I settled on the right thing for me.
My first job wasn't my dream job. But it was a springboard to where I want to be.
I took non-paid volunteer roles after school to get skills for when I graduate. It helped me learn what I liked and didn't like. And I built a good work ethic.
A girl was nasty to me, endlessly teased me, it got worse by email and texts. I talked to my parents and moved schools which helped.
I finally had the courage to stand up for myself. Now looking back I had made myself suffer when all I had to do was tell someone and get advice on what to do.
I failed nearly all my exams due to lack of time management and stress. Hearing other kids stories made me realise I'm not the only person suffering.
If you are being bullied don't hesitate and get help and know what you can do about it. No matter how hard it is to believe it will get better.

After finishing Uni I remember going through a really tough time. I applied for so many jobs but didn’t even get an interview. It was depressing. All my friends were moving out into sharehouses. I was still living with my parents because I couldn't afford to move out. I kept taking whatever jobs I could get, even though they weren't in the field I had studied. I saw a careers counsellor. I did some volunteering in my field to build up my resume. I felt like a failure.
