- My Circle is a free social platform that hosts communities of **12 - 25-year-olds** in Australia and **parents over 18 years old** in Australia. - **It’s monitored by Clinical Moderators** who check on the community every day to help conversations stay safe, supportive, and informative. My Circle Moderators will edit or remove any content that goes against our Community Guidelines. - **My Circle Community Guidelines must be followed**. Please read them before posting! - **My Circle is an anonymous community! Always keep your identity private** and don’t share it with anyone on My Circle. This includes real names, social media tags or accounts, emails, date of birth, photos of yourself, family or friends, etc. - **Be respectful** of one another so everyone feels safe and comfortable. **Try to understand** another person’s point of view, even if you don’t agree. - **Any offensive or disrespectful posts or content** will be taken down. Do this even if you are a parent, since Kids Helpline staff manage the My Circle platform. - **Keep it Confidential**\- My Circle is designed to be a safe space for members to share thoughts and experiences anonymously. Please keep My Circle _usernames, account details_, and other _member’s posts/comments_ private and **never** share them with anyone you know in real life. - **My Circle is private and confidential.** We keep the information you share on My Circle private within Kids Helpline, however we also have a responsibility to protect you from harm which is called our “**duty of care**”. This means if you or someone you know is in a dangerous or unsafe situation, we are legally required to take some action such as telling somebody or another organisation (e.g. emergency services, human services) to let them know so they can help.
